What This Design Does:

Reference design of Vald — a distributed vector search engine running on Kubernetes. This design represents the Vald Ingress, Load Balancer Gateway, Discoverer, Index Manager, multiple Agents, and their backing storage indices. It visualises Vald’s high-level architecture and inter-component relationships including async connections for index management and discovery.

Caveats and Consideration:

This design is a reference model and does not represent a deployment-ready setup. Relationships are conceptual and meant to illustrate component communication flow.
